3. XFL (NBC, UPN and TNN, 2001)

4. The Brady Bunch Hour (ABC, 1977)

5. Hogan's Heroes (CBS, 1965-71)

6. Celebrity Boxing (Fox, 2002-present)

7. AfterMASH (CBS, 1983-84)

8. Cop Rock (ABC, 1990)

9. You're in the Picture (CBS, 1961)

19. The P.T.L. Club (syndicated, 1976-87)

20. The Pruitts of Southampton (ABC, 1966-67)

21. Baywatch (NBC and syndicated, 1989-2001)

22. The Powers of Matthew Star (NBC, 1982-83)

23. Sammy and Company (syndicated, 1975-77)

26. Life with Lucy (ABC, 1986)

27. Turn-On (ABC, 1969)

28. Supertrain (NBC, 1979)

29. Howard Stern (E!, 1994-present)

30. Unhappily Ever After (WB, 1995-99)

41. The Tom Green Show (MTV, 1999-2000)

42. The Flying Nun (ABC, 1967-70)

43. Woops! (Fox, 1992)

44. She's the Sheriff (syndicated, 1987-89)

45. A.K.A. Pablo (ABC, 1984)

46. Me and the Chimp (CBS, 1972)

48. Bless this House (CBS, 1995-96)

49. The Ropers (ABC, 1979-80)

50. Barney & Friends (PBS, 1992-present)

I disagree with "The Ropers" being #49. Of the two episodes I've seen, they're quite good. "The Flying Nun" and "Hogan's Heroes" are both GREAT shows IMO. You can see an article on this at http://tv.yahoo.com/news/va/20020712/102653539800.html

What do they know???? I loved Still The Beaver and The Flying Nun! And where do they come off picking on a little kid's show like Barney and Friends. Preschoolers learn everything from colors and shapes to good manners by watching that show. They should just keep their opinions on such matters to themselves!

I'm not surprised that Jerry Springer made it to #1 but why on Earth would they put Manimal and The Flying Nun on that list?

Ugh I was watching CNN Headline News and they were talking about this and they had one of the people from TV Guide on there. The woman asked her why so many well rated shows are near the top. THe woman says because we're couch potatos......

*SLAPS WOMAN FROM TV GUIDE*

sorry I just had to do that to avenge Hogan, Nun, and Ropers.

I've never heard of most of those shows on the list. But I disagree with the Tom Green show being one of the worst. That show cracked me up everytime.

The only ones with which I disagree are #4 "The Brady Bunch Hour" and #39 "Still The Beaver" (any relation to "The New Leave It To Beaver"? I thought "Still The Beaver" was the movie that led to the NLITB series, like "The Brady Girls Get Married" led to "The Brady Brides" back in 1981.).

I'm surprised "WWE (formerly WWF) Smackdown!" (UPN, 1999-present), "The Family Guy" (Fox, 1999-2002), "Beverly Hills, 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000), and "Married ... with Children" (Fox, 1987-1997) did not make the list, along with some other MTV shows.

I HAVE A FEW DISAGREMENTS WITH THAT LIST, MAYBE THREE DISAGREMENTS WITH THAT LIST!

1)HELLO LARRY DOES'NT DESERVE TOO BE ON THAT LIST!
THE SCRIPTS WERE AVERAGE RUN OF THE MILL BUT THE CAST WAS VERY GOOD! I WOULD SAY ABOVE AVERAGE ESPECIALLY RIM RICHARDS AND JOANNA GLEESON!
I HAVE 26 EPISODES ON VIDEOTAPE

I THINK "9 TO 5" THE TV SERIES SHOULD BE IN ITS PLACE WITH IT'S MANY CAST AND FORMATS CHANGES INCLUDING SWITCHING FROM FILM TO VIDEO TAPE!
A TV SERIES THAT DESERVES TO BE ON THAT LIST
VERY UNENTERTAINING SHOULD'NT HAVE BEEN MADE INTO A TV SERIES

2)HOWARD STERN(NO.29 ON THAT LIST) IS THE GREATEST SATIRIST OF THIS GENERATION!
BUT,I THINK "USA TODAY THE TV SERIES" SHOULD BE IN ITS PLACE.IT WAS LIKE SESAME STREET FOR ADULTS,SO CONDENSCENDING! AND NOT VERY INFORMING OR ENTERTAINING EVEN THOUGH IT TRIED TO BE.

MY THIRD DISAGREMENT IS "THE FLYING NUN"
YES ITS FARFETCHED BUT USUALLY ENTERTAINING

I THINK "PRIVATE BENJAMIN" ANOTHER GREAT ARGUMENT
FOR A MOTION PICTURE NOT BECOMING A TV SERIES ! SHOULD BE IN ITS PLACE.

AS FAR THE ROPERS ARE CONCERNED THAT SHOW WAS OK,BUT IT WAS LIKE FRED AND ETHEL MERTZ SPINING OFF FROM THE "I LOVE LUCY SHOW" TO FORM THEIR OWN SITCOM,IT WOULD'NT HAVE WORKED.

IN ITS PLACE I WOULD PUT "SAVED BY THE BELL,THE COLLEGE YEARS" YES, IT SHOULD BE ON ANY WORST 50 TV SHOWS OF ALLTIME LIST!

THATS MY OPINION
WHATS YOURS
