Default What is the first TV show you ever remember seeing?

What is the first show everyone remembers seeing when they were a kid? For me it was definitely The Brady Bunch!! I've watched it in syndication as far back as I can remember and I think I was able to quote lines from it when I was about 3. That's why it holds a special place in my heart I think the second show might have been Laverne and Shirley.

For me it was Sesame Street. I was about two when it premiered.
My mother used to tell me that I was so mesmorized by this program that I would actually stand in front of the TV and watch.
My mother would tell me to sit and watch, but I would just stand there. Finally she would have to physically sit me down to watch.
I also remember always getting up and hiding whenever The Count came on.
But, I'm older, and no longer fear The Count.
Now I get up and hide whenever Judge Judy is on.

My very first really vivid memory is of watching Cheers. My dad loved the show but my mother hated for me to watch it because ::gasp:: it had a bar in it!
So whenever she'd be out in the evenings or away for awhile he'd let me watch it (i was maybe 2...)
lol, yeah. I remember the theme song better than anything- when it came to n@n i was like "i know this!!!!!" lol

For me it has to be......*thinks* "Bewitched."
I used to get drunk off of that show when I was young(er). I think it premeired on The Superior N@N in 1989, so I was maybe 2 or 3 when I started watching. When it comes to first run tho, it's probably Step by Step, Full House, and Family Matters. I forgot the fourth show in the TGIF lineup tho..........

The first tv show that I remember watching, even though I didn't like it at the time was 'The Andy Griffith Show'. I hated that show so much when I was younger. (I was an ignorant child what else can I say? lol) Then I had my spell where I started to like it. Then came the obsession period.

The first tv show that I remember watching that I really liked was 'Batman'. I loved that show. I watch it and record it now that its on tvland, and I get so much of a laugh out of it still. I think when I was younger, I liked the Batgirl season. For some reason, I just don't like the Batgirl season now. I'm not saying Yvonne Craig isn't a good actress. It's just whenever you add an extra character to a show, the ship starts to sink.

The first TV show I watched had to have been on Nickelodeon or the Disney Channel. Those were pretty much the ONLY channels I watched in my younger days.

The first show I ever watched was Days of our Lives! I can also remember watching Batman, when I was younger. But the first show I ever watched was definitely Days of our Lives like when I was a day old, o.k. mabye not that young but when I went home from the hospital my mom watched it and so did I she says, she used to watch it ever day and tape it if she was gonna miss it, now she doesnt' get to watch it as much but I never stopped. I want to act on that show someday, you wait and see if I don't.

The first show that I remember was "Gilligan's Island". (First run). I had to be 3 or 4. I remember my mom getting me out of the bathtub and hurrying up to get my pajama on and then going over to a table in the living room, getting out a chocolate "Tootsie Pop" and sitting on the floor watching Gilligan. Wow, what great memories!!!

Golden Girls
Cheers
The Cosby Show
Family Ties
Night Court
Growing Pains
Who's the Boss
I Love Lucy
Mr. Ed
Dragnet
Dobie Gillis
