Nice! He's very complimentary of Dick S.'s work; I like that. While I'll always prefer Dick York's work on Bewitched, I'm glad they were able to find a substitute.

Dick Sargent got a raw deal and he didn't deserve to die the way he did.

I've spoken on social media with many of the "other Darrin's" and "cousin Oliver's" who were brought in onto shows. Some of the little girls - now grown ladies - talked about many pretty nasty remarks about them that were sent to the network or their agents. Sadly, some of these remarks included threats of romantic/sexual violence.

My guess is any letters about the Darrin switch were kept from the cast & crew for morale’s sake- probably for the best. They said they never got any letters, so I suspect someone at ABC and/or Screen Gems was playing interference, as people definitely wrote to their local papers about it: https://majicst.proboards.com/thread/16
