Default Glad there wasn't a season 5 because Stephanie was so awkward as a teen

I dont think I could have watched her go on dates and have a boyfriend What made it worst was she was trying to be grown and act like she was an adult and came off so weird.

That was one weird looking, awkward kid going through some serious puberty!

These are two separate issues. I thought Danielle Brisebois quickly matured from a tiny little girl on AITF to a beautiful young woman with body to match in the last 3 seasons of ABP. But as a result of growing up too quickly she couldn't be the cute kid anymore. It also hurt her when they bumped off Edith. The focus changed from Family to the Bar and she really didn't fit on a show centered at a saloon. As a result it seemed like they really didn't know what to do with the Stephanie character the last two years. They were walking a tightrope trying to find ways to keep her involved but in a more periphery way so they could to do more mature episodes. Stephie just kinda drifted in and out of the storyline with no real purpose or direction.

Yup that's why the role decreased and I found myself enjoying the show more
