Should they have explored more about Shawn's half brother from trailer park? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I thought in the season 3 episode where they brought in Shawn's half brother it was a mystery. They never told Cory he had one until his brother tried to fight Cory. Do you think they could have had more episodes that revolved around Shawn and his criminal brother?

It's odd that he was never referred to again- not even when Jack became a full-time cast member! I suppose it could be that Jack had had no interest in getting to know or even meet Eddie (or vice versa) because Eddie may have been via Virna instead of Chet which ultimately would have made him Shawn's stepbrother instead of half-brother but this is never spelled out!

I think it might have something to do with maybe Shawn having his brother arrested when Cory turned in that tape to win the school project. His half brother was a petty thief.

Eddie was worse than that. It seemed he was willing to beat up Cory and was likely a thug to others. I think Jack would have turned tail first thing had he had to encounter Eddie.
