Default Would you have divorced Florida if you were James? :/

I remember GT Fans wondering why James didn't divorce Florida and take the kids with him since she seemed intent on keeping them in the Ghetto although there were multiple times they all could have gotten out of that Ghetto if Florida wasn't keeping them down with her constant nagging about not wanting to leave the Ghetto the WRONG way money wise, such as when she nagged James to give back that $2,000 he found in the Windfall episode, which could have at LEAST given them a first months rent in a nicer neighborhood.Their words, not mine.... Do you think James should have divorced Florida? :/

Hmm…how should I put this? Hell YES! She had a good heart but she was too gullible and content about the ghetto at times. Like buying a roast as a “treat” to spend an extra 12 dollars they had instead of spending it on something more significant, nagging and harassing James about considering to go to work on the pipeline in Alaska because Michael “needed” a father, inviting both Eddie and James’s friend, Ernie over knowing damn well their wasn’t enough room and J.J. and Michael had to share a sofa bed as it was, leaving her children behind in the GHETTO to tend to Carl way in Arizona, having her best friend, Wilona chaperoning them and then returning a year later to the same place she moved on from.

I can now see why James going to Alaska was a bad idea. It was because of the environment they was in and for him to leave for a whole year while his wife and daughter no longer had a protector wasnt a good idea. And we know JJ wasnt much of a man so that's why it made sense that he didnt go

I’m surprised James wasn’t too angry about her decision

Hell yeah! If it wasn't for the kids, he should have definitely left her. They had 2 different mindsets when it came to life, and in many ways, got in his way.
