It half sounds like Jim Burnside but IDK that he found her at a store.

He found her at her workplace and attacked her in the parking lot. A husband finding a fleeing wife at a store doesn't ring a bell with me. The closest I can think of is the Richard Minns case where the victim went to a donut shop and the hitman fired at her in the parking lot as she got into her car.

Could be the Dana Satterfield murder, where a witness ran to a liquor store to get help and bumped into the killer at the front door. May also be "Debbie", who was forced to stay in her car while her attacker went into a liquor store to buy a drink.

Thanks for the replies.
I've seen someone mentioning this case on here but I haven't actually seen it myself. I wanted to watch it. Maybe they were thinking of another show? |
