Half-Way There

Once upon a time, I started a thread called "Pride and Prejudice". This thread had to do with the fact that one issue that this show never dealt with was prejudice against the Irish. I compared it with "Friends" that did have an episode that dealt with prejudice against the Irish. Time went on and, people visited my thread, but no one replied. When the number of views of that thread reached a hundred, I commemorate this reality by posting a thread called "The One-Hundred Mark" Just like the one that came before it, this one got views but no replies! Since then I have tried a different approach to stimulate some conversation. I started a thread called "Years Earlier". This thread had to do with the late Hazel Shermet. She made three guest appearances on this show. I mentioned her having made an appearance on the "Addams Family" that I saw in syndication. The "Addams Family" was on years before "Gimme a Break!" was even conceived of and even before some of the cast of "Gimme a Break!" was even born! That thread is now two threads below this one. As one more attempt to stimulate some conversation, I am going to point out that this thread now has half as many views as "Pride and Prejudice" had when I posted a follow up to that one.

Maybe your threads don't get a ton of responses because the thread is never about just one topic. You jump all over the place with prejudice against the Irish, Hazel Shermet, The Addams Family, etc. It's hard to tell just what your thread is about. Confusing stuff. You might wanna make your threads more simple and make them about just one topic.

One thing that you have to understand is that focusing on one topic and getting my point across in a more simple and basic way is difficult for me because of my disability. In any event, I appreciate your insight.
