Does anyone else think Blanche’s sex obsession is annoying…

I mean, enough of the sex kitten routine. I can only stomach a handful of episodes before nearly gagging. Especially when you know she’s been exaggerating like

Her and Tony Bennett
Her getting jealous over Rose having 56 boyfriends without going all the way
Her and shoe department men
Her having guys lick barbecue sauce off her fingers

It gets really sick and repetitive very quick.

It's not even half as annoying as Rose's dumbness routine. I'd listen to Blanche exaggerate about her sex life any time over one of Rose's dumb stories.

It’s vice versa with me. I admit, Rose’s ********, nonsense stories are no treat, but I prefer that to hearing Blanche boast and gloat about her sexual encounters with men in the most disturbing, groaning, delirious, sick way.

Yeah! I used to like this show first run, but now I find Blanche annoying! Pretty much I can take or leave the show altogether anymore, not one of my favorites!

I don't mind Blanche's outrageous sex stories at all. It's Rose's idiotic St. Olaf stories and general dumbness that I find extremely annoying.

Yes Rose is a long way from the brightest bulb on the block—her stories are OK—once in a while. Dorothy’s my fav though.

Dorothy is my favorite too. For me, it's: Dorothy, Blanche, Sophia, Rose. I actually dislike Sophia for the most part. Rose seriously annoys me, I adore Dorothy and I like Blanche a lot. So I only really like two of them.

It’s not the whole character herself, it’s her personality. She’s so selfish, uncaring, egotistic, envious, irresponsible, ignorant and all she does is bitch around and gloat and boast about sex.

And she gets WAY worse in later seasons.

Rose is simple but sweet so she’s OK by me. Sophia can be a bi##h but I think much of it is due to feeling physically like crap. Dorothy can be evil with her sarcasm—but I love it. And she has a great moral sense like when she tells ant-Semitic Barbara to “f” off. And I totally disagree with Sophia about Dorothy being ugly. Like Sophia should talk - the shrived up old raisin!

Dorothy was also WAY TO GOOD for Stan. The man is a good argument for celibacy. HE’s the character I dislike.

Rose is a very nice lady, but she is just way too incredibly dumb. I could never be friends with someone like her. Her stupidity boggles my brain and makes me frustrated.
Anyway, I agree that Dorothy was way too good for Stan. Overall, Dorothy is a great lady... super smart, decent looking, a great friend and a kind person. Sophia should have treated her better too. I always hated the way that Sophia looked for any opportunity to insult or humiliate poor Dorothy. And for what? Dorothy was a gem of a daughter. Sophia was a wicked snake who didn't deserve Dorothy. I hated the way she treated her.
Oh, I like you also loved when Dorothy told off Barbara Thorndike for wanting to exclude Murray Gutman from that snooty/restricted club. I loved when Dorothy told her "go to hell."

We agree on Rose being least favorite. She is a very nice lady, just super dumb... so dumb that I could never be around her. She's just too maddening and frustrating. I actually dislike Sophia so much, but I could tolerate being around her for a little while because she is not dumb.
Dorothy and Blanche are a hoot. I adore both ladies.
