Great! To Tell The Truth(CBS) & I’ve Got A Secret(CBS) should also on the schedule.

If it exists, I'd like to see the 1949 jackie gleason tv version of life of riley as well as the william bendix version. Also the tv versions of the Great Gildersleeve and My Favorite Husband. Bob Cummings Show and Pete and Gladys-the spinoff of december bride with harry morgan and cara williams. Also Private Secretary and/or Ann Sothern Show. Phil Silvers also needs to be there as well.

Years ago before MeTV went nationwide and was just a channel serving the Chicago area, their Sunday night schedule had all black and white shows for a time, they called it Sunday Night In Black And White. The early evening had sitcoms and they ran shows like Burns And Allen, Jack Benny, Phil Silvers, Dobie Gillis, and The Honeymooners. In the late evening into the overnight they ran drama/suspense shows like Alfred Hitchcock and The Twilight Zone. They ran other black and white shows too but these are the ones I remember.

Sounds way better than their ideas today.

Back in the day I watched that Sunday Night schedule and it was fun.

After the MeTOO channel started, they had a Saturday Night gimmick going for awhile and they called it Saturday Night Pajama Party. The schedule had classic sitcoms like Family Affair, Patty Duke Show, that was fun also.

Closest thing MeTV will ever get to THAT is Saturday Westerns.

I'm not into Westerns but MeTV does have quite a few of them for those who love those Western shows.

Maybe add Life With Elizabeth (Betty White) or I Married Joan.

Since you listed The Twilight Zone, you might also consider One Step Beyond or The Outer Limits.

6PM The Ed Sullivan Show- This might be the worst part of losing the Decades livestream, I had been looking forward to The Beatles tonight and Elvis yesterday. The sitcoms are great but I have seen them before and they are available on DVD.
7-8PM The Dick Van Dyke Show
8-9PM The Andy Griffith Show seasons 1-5

Your list is a nice one, and a great starting point. Some of the additional suggestions worked in would make it even greater.

There were SO MANY great shows from this era that I it’s hard for one person to think of ALL of them. We all have are absolute favorite shows, but with all that, there are still so many not far behind. There isn’t one show one your list I wouldn’t like. And a particular big thank you for including O & H on your list. I can attest it’s a great show.

I like the idea of an all black and white TV show channel.

That is so true. Back when the networks were good they put out so much good programming. It is really amazing.

I have added Route 66 to the black and white all-stars. Bewitched and Petticoat Junction have been removed. They will be moving to the color 60s network I will be posting soon, which will include their black and white seasons.

More people should check out Father Knows Best. Mostly an excellent show, and recognized with several Emmys in the later seasons.
