I got some interesting news from Mom that will interest all of you. According to my mom Press Your Luck's new season will debut sometime in June though Mom didn't give me the exact season premiere date. The Press Your Luck revival is one game show that I liked but then lost track of it so this season might be good

ABC announced their summer premiere dates a few weeks ago, which includes Press Your Luck.

That new one called WAMMY is crap and I didnt like it!!!

The ABC version is a remake also called Press Your Luck. But it isn't the original version or host either. Whammy was GSN's remake of PYL, but that came before ABC's current version which is the newest.

Elizabeth Banks has been hosting the ABC version for the last couple of years.

The hourlong summer weekly episodes are good -- perhaps even better than the original 1980s version -- but I often forget to tune in. I wish ABC would bring back a half-hour version for its daytime lineup.

I like watching it too, despite never having been the biggest Press Your Luck fan. But it seemed like I rarely had time to watch the entire hour -- so I support your suggestion for 30-min. daytime.

Press Your Luck made it's debut yesterday and Season 3 has loads of new surprises in store. One of the new surprises is an all new addition to the board called Take The Lead which when a player hits it gives the player the lead instantly. Also there are new never before seen Whammies for this version and they have Unicorn Whammy Wonder Whammy and Whammy Poppins. I think this season will be fun for Press Your Luck
