American Idol's Disney Week

Today my mom watched American Idol's Disney Week and I can't figure out why American Idol chooses to team up with Disney and have the performers do Disney Week? What I think this week was actually a tie-in to Disney as a way for Disney to market stuff. From what my mom saw of American Idol's Disney Week it was very weak and unappealing and they seemed to perform songs from the newer Disney movies like It's All Right from Soul Remember Me from Coco and Into The Unknown from Frozen II and they should've picked better Disney songs like When You Wish Upon A Star and Someday My Prince Will Come or even A Whole New World would've better or Almost There from The Princess And The Frog. Disney Week also seems like a commercial or marketing tool for Walt Disney World because American Idol showed scenes of the performers in Walt Disney World and it seems like a commercial. Another thing is for American Idol to have Disney Week is add some Disney flair and there was none of that involved and they could've had the performers dress in costumes to match the song they performed and have the judges dress as Disney characters to make it watchable. If American Idol has Disney Week again I hope they improve it well
