I know they have to be out there somewhere, but I'm just curious...

Has anyone been to a "Classic TV" convention or something of the sort? I just wonder if there has been a gathering of fans such as the people on this board that get together and learn more. Perhaps a chance to meet stars, etc...

Is there such a thing?

Has anyone ever been to one?

I have heard about conventions and festivals for fans of certain shows, but I have never seen a conventions devoted to an entire genre of classic TV.
But it wouldn't be a bad idea. Like a sci-fi convention (which I have been to) you could have vendors selling t-shirts, collectibles and such, and have celebs and stars from classic shows signing autographs and hosting a Q&A about the show. I see a lot of stars from classic TV shows at sci fi conventions, why not have a whole convention devoted to them?
