Zombie/nightmare episode

For some reason I thought of this episode today and how it SCARED THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF ME when I saw it at 8 years old.

The Hogan Family was one of my favourite shows, I loved the way the brothers fought and the story lines in general. This was a show I'd watch with my family regularly, we'd all laugh and it was pleasant in general.

So cut to me watching the show alone in our basement. I've seen this show a million times and I know I'm allowed to watch it alone, there was zero reason why I'd avoid watching the show alone. It's a family sitcom from the 80s after all.

When the nightmare scene happens and the family turns into Zombies I was genuinely terrified and couldn't sleep that night. When my brother and mom noticed I was scared I told them what happened on the Hogan Family show and they 100% assumed I was lying. I am sure they thought I had actually watched a zombie movie and just didn't want to admit it, so I blamed the Hogan family. It was as silly as saying "I can't sleep because a vampire killed the family on Who's the boss"

Even today when I see that scene, my mind warps back to the late 80s and I can feel that "OMG NO NO NO WTF IS HAPPENING" feeling
