I love 'em both, but I like cats even better... because they're more quiet.

Since cats are the devils pet, obviously dogs

Devil dogs, on the other hand, are of course delicious

Either are "okay", if properly cared for. I have contempt for the owners of dogs whose owners allow them to walk/run unleashed in public areas, as well as the people who find the predator instinct in their cats to be amusing.

Personally, I get more of a thrill out of befriending wild animals. Once you've earned their trust the relationship can be very rewarding, and their self-sufficiency is a definite plus.

I've got 3 of each, so I love them both.

That being said, we aren't getting any more cats after these three cross the ol' Rainbow Bridge. We're all pretty much over scooping litter boxes at this point.

We've had both but I'm more fond of cats. We have a black cat who just showed up and adopted us. And we have a very old yellow/orange cat that we got when he was just a kitten.
