He was kind of a funny-looking baby, but you have to admire the casting director... he really did look like he fit into the Bunker-Stivic family!

They had 3 different actors play Joey in the long run. The 1979 (ABP Thanksgiving) ep we saw him as a 4 year old, then another kid actor in 1982 in the episode "Gloria comes home" and then in then another episode which was a pilot for "Gloria" Christian Jacobs potrayed Joey.

Did you ever watch the short-lived 1994 Norman Lear sitcom, "704 Houser Street"(the Bunker's address), starring John Amos, where, in the FIRST episode, a GROWN-UP JOEY, NOW, WITH A BEARD, visits the house, and says that his mother(Gloria)grew up in that house, and, I guess you could say he looked somewhat like Mike, THIS TIME, and he was played by CASEY(don't know the last name)

I thought baby Joey was adorable. I liked the baptisism (sp?) episode also.

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

If you really think about it all babies are ugly but in a cute way.Like not really ugly but sort of ugly.I know that probably didn't make any sence.
