Bernard Shaw (real name of Bernard Fox) who played Dr. Bombay was in an episode, and another actor who was only on Bewitched once was in an episode. He was in the episode where Darren had to be sent back in time and kiss Samantha to bring her memory back and bring her to the present time. This was the actor who was sparring with swords with Dick York.

Your're referring to Jack Cassidy, who appeared on Bewitched in 1968 and 1970 and on Barnaby Jones in 1973.

He died a terrible death because he was in a house fire which is a painful way to go.

There really isn't much of a connection between the two shows, the great Reta Shaw had a small part in an episode of Barnaby Jones.

Duster76 is right. You can find some actors who appeared on both series, like Meg Wyllie and Joan Tompkins, but there's not much of a connection.
If you broaden out to other Screen Gems series like The Donna Reed Show and Dennis the Menace, you will find that regulars Carl Betz and Herbert Anderson made Barnaby Jones appearances. |

Many second tier TV actors showed up everywhere on TV. Bill Daily (I Dream of Jeannie) was on a Bewitched episode as well. Bill Mumy... Lots and lots of actors that were all over the place.

I thought I saw every Bewitched episode there was, and I don't remember Bill Daily.

That's not the episode where a boy who was a young warlock came and stayed, is it?

No, you're thinking of a Season 2 episode, where the warlock boy Merle visits and turns a hair brush into a toy fire engine.

It seems strange that Bill Daily made a guest appearance on Bewitched because I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched had a rivalry going on. They both have plenty in common, but I don't remember Jeannie's mom being played by the same actress more than once. Aside from the obvious similarity in that they were both about characters who had supernatural abilities, a cast member from each one was male and was turned on by males. Hayden Roarke who played Dr. Bellows was like that, and so was the second Darren actor Dick Sargent.
