Northern Bath Tissue Doll Special Promotion from the 1980's

Perhaps you remember seeing the classic art featuring the Northern Bath Tissue girls that were a staple on Northern Bath Tissue wrappers from the 40's to the 90's. In 1987 Northern began a special promotion of dolls based on the Northern Bath Tissue girls and are considered very special commercial merchandise. While a commercial was made to honor this doll set finding the three dolls are worth a challenge to discover. The Northern Bath Tissue Dolls were the size of small baby dolls and featured soft huggable bodies that made excellent cuddle buddies for little girls. The dolls had no names but were dressed in the authentic outfits seen on the wrappers and consisted of a red haired doll a brunette haired doll and later a blonde haired doll was added to the set "who reminds me of toddler Elsa from Disney's Frozen" to honor the debut of Northern Free. In 1995 the doll series was revived with the debut of Quilted Northern with different dolls including one who reminds me of toddler Tiana. The Northern Bath Tissue Dolls were a mail order promotion by sending a order form with your choice of doll and proofs of purchase from Northern Bath Tissue wrappers. But if you can find these dolls they are an adorable treasure for commercial fans

Hi, Bestie! I think Northern should do that doll thing again! It was good publicity for them. Also little girls would tell their mom to buy Northern so they can send for the doll! What do you think?
