I saw Kathy a few days ago as a imposter on To Tell The Truth with Anthony Anderson. She was claiming to be a sibling of Dolly Parton. Contestant # one and # 3 was either Dolly's sister or brother. Everyone voted for # 3 thinking it was a brother of Dolly's and # 1 was Dolly's sister Stella who I hadn't seen in years. Kathy said at the end. I am not Dolly's sister but I played a sister on Family Affair and a photo was shown.

I wonder why Kathy Garver didn't really do a lot of live-action acting post-Family Affair. The bulk of her acting work was in voice overs in animated TV series. For example, Kathy was the voice of Firestar on Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. I'm immediately assuming that she got typecast as Cissy and going into a medium, where we couldn't actually physically see her was the next best option.

I have recently seen Kathy advertising captioned telephones.
