'School Bus' - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Two small things:

Why does Ward say "school bus" by accenting the last syllable? Normally one would accent, or just punch slightly, the adjective that describes the noun so as to differentiate said noun from other types of nouns/objects. Weird, especially in view of Ward's education and formal-ish bearing.

After reading the note stating Beaver is banned from the bus, Ward rails that today, when a kid misbehaves, it's the parent that's penalized because now he has to drive Beaver to school, as June suggested. Wait a minute: why? Beaver walked to school before they had bus service. He can walk again.

I caught that error - Beav walked to school then it's too far ? DUH writing !

They had just moved to the new house. Maybe it was a longer walk to the school?

It was always faster for me to walk or ride my bike than take the bus.
