Default Nick@Nite Poll

Personally, I think the best Nick@Nite Schedule was when it went Brady Bunch, Wonder Years, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley--the good ol' days!! Now its all Cheers! Cheers! Cheers! And whats up with last years Unrealathon and this years Camping thing? Whatever happened to the Block Party Summer?! (98 and 99 being the BEST lineup!) Seriously, whenever I tune in, its either Cheers, or the Cosby Show. Now mind you, I like Cosby (but I hate Cheers), but come on! These shows ENDED in the early 90's! Remember about 5 years ago when it was all about Bewitched, Lucy, Munsters, and Dick Van Dyke?! TVLand is picking Nick@Nites mistakes, but unfortunatly for some of us (this being me), some cable providers dont get TVLand (November baby woowoo!). Everything that I used to look forward too- Block Party Summer, Instant Gratification Sundays, all the holiday specials, and-this being my favorite of them all- the Nick @ Nite Classic TV Countdown every Christmas!! Anyways, what do you think? Do you think Nick@Nite has gone down the tubes (I mean come on--take a look @ their website, remember all the cool stuff you could do--morphing Brady screensavers!) or do you think Nick@Nite has improved? What do you think they should do??

of course nick won't do all of the shows, but tvland will. At least the schedule has the episodes listed through the 1984 season. Also Nick never did the specials like the Christmas ones. My only complaint about tvland is that where I live, Portland Ore the signal is scrambled slightly sometimes, but not as bad as Hallmark. Anyone else notice this?

I am actually pretty happy with TV Land.
Nick @Nite on the other hand...
you are all so right, it is always Cheers, Cosby and All in the Family (even though this is a Classic, it IS a little overdone...)
I remember when it was BeWitched and I love Lucy, Laverne and Shirley and I took it for granted when Happy Days was on! Every once in a while N@N will air something good, but classic is what they should focus on! stuff that the kids who have left their TV on after TeeNick can watch and laugh at how cheesy it is and eventually become hooked (that is what happened with me {i am only 15}) i mean c'mon, they spent an entire week on Gilligan's Island a few summers ago and now they don't air it at all!!
if anyone from Nick reads this: BRING BACK THE CAMPY BUt GOODIES!!!!

Default Its really unwatchable

When I was younger, I would watch Nick @ Nite all night long. Now I barely watch it. It's morphed into a mini TBS. The only show I watch on N @ N is 'All in the Family'. AITF is really getting a raw deal. It's barely on the station anymore. I kind of get the feeling that they are bumping AITF to the back burner

The marathons just don't make any sense. Come on, isn't it dull to sit there and watch only 2 shows a night on one channel? It was cool when Tv Land did the weekend marathons, because of the fact its a 24 hour station. It just doesn't work for N @ N because it isn't a 24 hour station.

You remember how I said N @ N is turning into a mini TBS? Let me show you.

The Cosby Show- Was on TBS
Family Ties- Was on TBS
3's Company- Was on TBS
All in the Family- ?
Cheers- ?

I can hardly wait for the day when they add 'Friends', 'Full House', and 'Home Improvement'.

I totally agree with you Jenny!!
Im young too, KD<3Chachi (Im 18), and I remember when I was 14,15,and 16 watching Nick@Nite. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT (no exaggeration-ask my mother! lol), at 9pm- it was a MUST that it went on Nick@Nite, and no one put up a fight with me, because they knew I would win-it was, for those couple of years (it seemed like so much more but thats probably because I was glued to it for everyday) an OBSESSION. Seriously, I would get sooo mad if I missed one of my shows-I taped every episode even when I knew I already had it on tape. I guess all that money on tapes really paid off though in the end. The last time now though that I actually got excited about watching N@N was when the Facts Of Life was on (yeah, THAT lasted all but 9 months!). Now I despise the channel and every once in a while Ill watch 3's Co.-at 3am of all times!-I remember when Rhoda and Taxi were on @ that time slot. Yeah, the marathons, frankly stink. Bring back Block Party Summer--and hey! Wheres Kacey Casem?!? He ROCKS! I agree KDCHACHI--bring back the GOODIES!!!
NICK@NITE!
Bring the goodies back!!

I put I love N@N cuz i love the Cosby Show and Cheers but i do admit that they need 2 put some more classic shows like Happy Days and the older N@N shows.
