Merrygold Cheese commercials from Ireland - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Since St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner how about we take a look at Ireland's delicious food commercials starting with these commercials from Merrygold cheese. For those of you who aren't familiar with this cheese Merrygold is one of Ireland's best selling cheese brands and debuted a series of commercials depicting the traditional Irish family. The first commercial features a grandmother teaching her grandson about cooking and so he helps her cut slices of Merrygold cheese to put in the food. This commercial is in the Gaelic language so I was surprised to see no English subtitles in it when I found it. The second Merrygold commercial is in English and features a family getting ready for a big family function when the daughter brings some cheese and then everybody helps out with cooking. I never knew Irish commercials were so wonderful until I saw these and they truly bring the togetherness of family. Now if only American commercials were like this

Hi, Bestie! I am part Irish myself and speak a little Gaelic. I never saw a Merrygold cheese commercial. But they sound pretty nice. I have had the cheese and it is very good cheese. What is your favorite Irish food? Do you enjoy St. Patricks day? I do. I always watch the St Patricks day parade.
