Well now, today being my My 3 Sons day I watched the next ep. in the series from the 4th season, "Second Chorus". It guest starred the great singer Jaye P. Morgan. I was watching this on the commercially sold disc and I really enjoyed it, one reason because I really like Jaye P. Morgan. And after the show was over I was just thinking what a great show that was then it struck me.
Hey, I don't remember hearing Jaye P. Morgan sing any song! I then realized the cheap CBS DVD makers strike again. They cut out another classic song from the show. I then (determined to see Jaye sing, I love the way she pronounces words with that "eeoww" sound) I went to an old TV Land recording. And sure enough there she is singing the song "Just 1 of Those Things", I knew I remembered her singing. It's on UTube too, here it is, Jaye sings her song at about 4 min. 39 seconds in. You can also hear another great Jaye P. Morgan song on the Sounds Like Radio podcast, Episode 39, here's where to go for that :https://anchor.fm/your-humble-host/e...Wowzers-ekoo3u And here's the TV Land recording with Jaye singing "Just 1 of Them Thangs" that was edited out on the CBS disc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H57_TnDqO2w A lot of great stuff here, huh? |

Ugh! They did it AGAIN!
My recording (other than the commercial DVD) is from MeTV, which undoubtedly cut it, too. She sings in a season 7 episode also. I imagine that's OK because it was in regular syndication, unlike season 4. |

Here are some looks, from both before & after her "transformation" as some call it:

I personally only remember her from her Gong Show days. It was later I discovered she was a real Peggy Lee type singer in the '50's and early '60's. I always liked her sense of humor, always seemed to be having a good time and laughing. Funny lady and sexy too. Loved her smile.

Jaye we see here in a *healthy* pose:
Here's a look at Jaye from a 1961 episode of General Electric Theater, with Gary Merrill. I like how her hair looks in this photo: |

JP Mor-goun
There's no way to spell the way Chuck Barris pronounced it. He would say Mor-gone (rhymes with cone). |
