I currently subscribe to both CBS All Access and Hulu, and to my surprise, the selection of episodes is 90% alike, but not the same. Maybe this is one of the few shows on both streaming services and the episodes vary a bit.
For example, Hulu has Season 1, episode 1, while CBS All Access (soon to be Paramount+) does not. Hulu has some episodes from the last season, while CBS All Access does not have any. I kind of noticed this with CBS All Access not having the full I Love Lucy series, but I think Hulu is exactly the same. When I watch an episode on Hulu, it has the CBS logo on the bottom. With other series like Mary Tyler Moore, Hulu is pretty good and appears to have the full series. Decades, an over the air digitnet, is more reliable for fans that want to see all episodes of I Love Lucy. Some say the reason for Hulu/CBS not having it on the streaming is music rights. Probably the same is true with MeTV/Decades and the broadcast of Brady - that most if not all episodes are aired. Has anyone checked an Brady episode from a DVD set that is missing from CBS All Access and figured out the reason why it might have been cut from the streaming service? |
