Jason Bateman made his first appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson on September 19, 1984. This was a week before It's Your Move premiered. You don't see that many 15-year-olds that calm, cool and collected. He made a smooth transition from a child to adult actor. His voice and mannerisms haven't changed too much over the years.

It's too bad they edited out the clip from the interview. I know there a handful of episodes on YouTube, but they should be officially released on DVD, make it available for sale digitally or put it on a streaming service.

There was another vintage interview from 1984 with him and David Garrison uploaded a few months ago. They really had good chemistry and worked well together. They had a tough time slot against Dynasty. NBC should have paired it with Silver Spoons or Diff'rent Strokes. It was definitely one of the best one-year wonders of the 1980s.

Strange this show wasnt renewed at #52 but Punky Brewster was at #69
