"FBI: International" Spin-off in the Works at CBS as Franchise’s Third Series

Dick Wolf’s vision for "FBI" as a franchise continues to come together with a potential third series on CBS.

I hear the network is eying "FBI: International" (working title), which would focus on the FBI’s international operations. The project, which is still in the dealmaking stages, is being written by one of the top showrunners in the Wolf universe, Derek Haas, who is expected to serve as showrunner. CBS declined comment.

Haas would executive produce the series with Wolf Entertainment’s Wolf, Peter Jankowski and Arthur Forney. Universal Television, part of Universal Studio Group, produces in association with Wolf Entertainment and CBS Studios.

Luke Kleintank, Heida Reed & Vinessa Vidotto To Star in "FBI: International"

Luke Kleintank (The Man in the High Castle), Heida Reed (Poldark) and Vinessa Vidotto (Lucifer) have been tapped as leads of "FBI: International", the upcoming third series in Dick Wolf’s hit FBI drama franchise on CBS.

It is slated to air as part of an FBI Tuesday lineup and will launch this fall with a three-hour crossover premiere event alongside the mothership "FBI" and "FBI: Most Wanted".

Christiane Paul & Carter Redwood to Star in "FBI: International"

Accomplished German actress Christiane Paul (Counterpart) and Carter Redwood (The Long Road Home) round out the series regular cast of "FBI: International", the upcoming third series in Dick Wolf’s hit FBI drama franchise on CBS.

Paul will play a Europol agent, while Redwood plays a member of the FBI Fly Team in Budapest.
