Does anyone remember The Fleetwoods? I was listening to music and came across The Fleetwoods and they were very popular in the 50's with the songs Come Softly To Me Mr. Blue and Tragedy and their songs were wonderful and simple and you don't see that in music today. Garth Brooks also covered Mr. Blue on his album No Fences in 1990

Hi, Bestie! I remember the Fleetwoods. My favorite song is Mr. Blue. I also liked Goodnight my love. Did you know they did Unchained Melody too? But not as good as the Righteous Brothers though. Thanks for reminding me of them. I will look them up on the youtube.
Just curious, did the Fleetwoods sing any television themes? I think they would have been good at it. DTK |
