That was a good time-travel episode of Bewitched (1868 New Orleans - aired October 1968). Jack Cassidy's character falls for Samantha, and unfortunately for Darren, she doesn't recognize him at all (certainly not as her husband).

Cassidy comes back to appear on the series the very next season, as a different character altogether -- again though, in love with Sam (actually Serena)...!
