Is there a peppier, uptempo, better number one pop hit that ends in double homicide?

Dark Lady sort of has a Gypsys Tramps And Thieves vibe to it. I have a reissue 45 RPM record from MCA records that has Half Breed on one side and Dark Lady on the flip side.
