Story wise, the movie had nothing to do with ‘Good Times, but it did kind of show there could be an audience for black family programming.

Based on argument of some members around here about the spinoff, I guess one can say that since few characters on GoodTmes were also in the '73 movie "Five on the Black Hand Side", GoodTimes is spinoff of that movie

I was not going at you, because I thought you were making it like 'Good Times' was a spinoff of the movie. I was making a separate point of how the movie helped show Hollywood, there could be a market for a black family show.

No I was just surprised to see her with so many of the actors who appeared in Good times
