Pepsi announces new Super Bowl commercial starring R&B singer The Weekend

It has been announced that Pepsi will air a new Super Bowl commercial during this year's Super Bowl starring R&B singer The Weekend. The commercial is slated to debut before the halftime show and features The Weekend waiting for the bus. While he is waiting he starts writing a song and in a Star Lord like fashion pulls out his Walkman and puts in his cassette tape and headphones and soon everyone sings along to his song. Now to be honest i'm not familiar with The Weekend but I think Pepsi will make him their spokesman like the late Ray Charles but I have a feeling this commercial will become popular in today's Super Bowl commercials of this year

I think this new Pepsi commercial was part of a plan to make The Weekend a spokesman for Pepsi commercial and I think The Weekend signed a million dollar contract with Pepsi to do commercials and they gave him the halftime show as a bonus. It seems that whenever singers like Michael Jackson Beyonce Britney Spears Faith Hill want to star in commercials Pepsi is the one who pays the singers big money and starting with The Weekend and Jason Biggs with the upcoming Pepsi sponsored game show Cherries Wild Pepsi proves that their number one with celebrity commercials

Hi, Bestie! I think The Weekend was trying to boost his career by doing the half time show. Bad move, this was the lowest rated Super bowl of all time. BTW Bestie, is it my imagination, or does The weekend look a lot like Lamont from Sanford and son?
