Mr. Everett, the house painter, used these two words/phrases.
It sounded like four-flusher, but what the heck does it mean? I'm sure it's not a compliment! From his usage it sounded like discommode means inconvenience. |

Discommode is a real word meaning "cause (someone) trouble or inconvenience". According to Wiki, "Four flushing refers to empty boasting or unsuccessful bluffing" in Poker.
