Flipping Shows--Can These People Really.... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

...be as stupid as they seem?

A prime example: Zombie House Flipping (Blueprint Real Estate Group)

Some things these dips have done on TV:

--Back a pickup truck to the front door, and the wood sticking out the back smashes the glass in the door

--Swing a golf club and break a window

--Try to use a machine to put a hunk of tree trunk on a pickup roof, and demolish the vehicle

Are people who seem to have a thriving business really this stupid? Or are some or all of these these stunts staged and paid for by the show?

I have always believed these people are as stupid as they seem.

Back when Trading Spaces was a show, they had on some truly idiotic designers: designers who were hot-gluing Popsicle sticks to formerly-beautiful crown molding; fastening hay and moss to walls; and doing incredible damage to homes in the name of "remodeling". As soon as the "designers" left, the families had to rip all of that garbage back out, and I recall a number of homeowners sued.
