If you were a watcher of Tyler Perry's plays you will be shocked to know that one of the actresses was a huge singer in the 80's. Way before she became a star of Tyler Perry plays Cheryl Pepsii Riley was a mega star when she released her debut album in 1988 and quickly became a huge sensation. After following success with her debut album Cheryl followed up with her second album Chapters in 1991 which had the song In God's Hands which she dedicated to her brother who tragically passed away then she moved to Warner Bros Records to release the album All That. I didn't even know who Cheryl Pepsii Riley was until I brought one of her albums and was impressed by her sound and voice. Give Cheryl Pepsii Riley a try and see what real dance music used to sound like in the 80's
