This morning(1/13) during the first Beaver airing, MeTV cut away for the second commercial break, then came back and reran the previous 10 minute Beaver segment. Then went to commercial and continued like nothing happened, except shows were off by 10 minutes. The 2nd Beaver started at 8:40 eastern, then Perry Mason at 9:10. I wasn't able to watch any further, so curious how/when they made up for this 10 minute goof.

That's odd. I know here the 2nd Beaver started at the normal time. I also know it ended on time, as I changed to Father Know Best on Antenna as Beaver was ending and FKB was just starting.
I'd say it was a local station issue, but I never heard of a local issue like that. |

Very interesting. We get the national feed through WDIV Detroit. I'm not sure how they could 'rewind' back to the previous break. Oh well, twice I got to see the Cleavers discuss why Wally shouldn't go to the all night party. The last time I saw something like this, a local station ran Double Jeopardy and the final, then the first round. Kinda ruined any suspense!!

If you're getting the national feed, that could explain it. They may run 2 different feeds with different ads, due to the national feed having ads that don't get blacked out by local ads.

We get the national feed w/ local ads and top of the hour ID break inserted. I know they were back on time when I checked at 1 p.m.. If no one else noticed this, it was something local. Still very strange when you realize you're hearing the same scene that you just watched.
