Was Gerry And The Pacemakers the group that sang Ferry Cross The Mersey and Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying? I first learned about them reading the liner notes of Gloria Estefan's 1994 covers album and Gloria mentioned that Gerry And The Pacemakers was one of the first British Invasion bands she listened to at nine years old. Gloria Estefan also covers Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying in a really lovely version on that album as well
