The World Through the Eyes of Children is a film that wasn't listed on Julie Anne's IMDB page until recently. It seems to have been her very first movie. Julie Anne is the blonde girl in the clip.
This musical was filmed at the now-demolished Wondering Woods Amusement Park in central Kentucky and starred country music singer Jimmie Rodgers. Julie Anne played Dawn, one of the kids. This film was made in the mid-1970s, during a time when a good portion of the people in the industry were on drugs, and it shows. It strongly reminds me of a Sid and Marty Krofft production. The Krofft brothers briefly operated a similar amusement park in the Atlanta area. |

I wonder why there is a dinosaur in this scene. I think the green rubber suit may have been reused for one of the Sleestak in the Kroffts' Land of the Lost.

This was around the time "The Land of the Lost" came out. I loved the show as a kid. Watched it in it's entirity about a decade ago and was surprised at how many drug references and psychedelic affects were in it.

![]() The drug references completely escaped me at that time. It sure was a different era! I did watch several episodes on YouTube not too long ago. I was surprised by how well the script for the pilot held up: that was some clever writing. Later episodes didn't fare as well. |
