Default Is ABC trying to become game show king again?

Ever since they started their successful Summer Fun And Games game show block I have started to think that ABC is desperate to become game show king again and I have never figured it out. Is it because ABC has never again had a blockbuster game show hit in prime time since Who Wants To Be A Millionaire debuted in 1999 and they hope that another blockbuster hit game show might be just what the doctor ordered for ABC? Because I have never seen ABC come out with previews announcing the debut of one game show after another and now that with Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune The Chase revival and The Hustler coming in January 2021 I think ABC has just begun to take a ride on the game show rollercoaster and never will get off of it without a successful game show hit to make ABC get high praise from it's audience. And with it's new Winter Fun And Games game show lineup it proves that ABC has now become game show king once again

If ABC wants to become the game show king, they need to load up their daytime schedule with game shows. It's not like they have many soap operas blocking the way anymore.

Hi, Bestie! I think ABC is counting on all the people at home because of Corona, being bored and wanting a good game show to watch. They mightbe right, but I wish they would have some Disney themed game shows. What is the use of being owned by Disney if you can't borrow some characters?

What ABC should do to expand their game show lineup and this would help them in their quest to become game show king is have a block of game shows to be shown in the afternoon similar to what USA Network had in the 80's-90's and it would consist of the following game shows and the hosts I would choose,
1. Disney Trivial Pursuit "Hosted by Chris Pratt"
2. Skip-Bo "Hosted by Josh Gad"
3. Bejeweled "Hosted by Patrick Dempsey"
4. Hoyle's Ultimate Challenge "Hosted by Todd Newton" Based on the Hoyle card games.
If ABC were to create this amazing game show lineup for weekday afternoons and if it existed it would be such a hit but would have competition with CBS with it airing at the same time as The Talk and Let's Make A Deal but ABC does need a solid daytime game show or block for them to become really successful. But ever since the Regis Philbin Who Wants To Be A Millionaire became a hit in 1999 ABC has struggled to find another hit game show yet they tried with Show Me The Money and Duel and they got cancelled but I can bet in a few years ABC will have another game show hit like Millionaire was

I think ABC is trying to use the old college try by making some of their game show stars famous by making them get bigger success and that's why they're desperate to become game show king. Take for instance Season 2 of The Chase has given Mark Labbett his own commercial spot and just because he is a Comeback Kid in America ABC is trying to make him the star of The Chase. And the same thing is happening to Joel McHale and Jimmy Kimmel with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Card Sharks. But I think once ABC realizes these celebrities are bound to get them huge ratings I think ABC will become game show king and add an entire lineup of exciting game shows and maybe have daytime game shows in their own block
