her parents think she did a good thing? Cheating is cheating. Sportsmanship requires giving it your all. Letting someone else win gives the other person a false sense of accomplishment.

She goofed up a lot, like a female Beaver. Like when she was "running" Bud's lawn mowing corp. and spent the profits on a model boat for her boyfriend, Burgess.

An 11 or 12 year old should know better. Bud was right to call her a crook, yet her parents sided with her? Please!

This was very surprising. I did not notice it my first time through the series.

I heard Ward in my mind stating that something is either wrong or its right and has nothing to do with who is around(or something similar).

I thought of the time when June told Wally to go easy on Beaver when they played checkers (probably after he got kicked off Park League basketball) and Wally said that wasn't the right thing to do.
