Itching Powder

"The Slumber Caper" episode always bothered me.

The girls are in their sleeping bags eating hot dogs and telling ghost stories with no problem. All of a sudden they all started itching. Even Jan itched and she was sitting on top of her sleeping bag.

Marcia announced it was itching powder. How did she know?

Everyone took showers but got back into their pajamas which would have had the itching powder still on them but they stopped itching.

Then they were on their open sleeping bags in the final scene, not itching.

Does itching powder take a while to become effective and does it then lose its itching properties?

I wonder where, when, and how the boys got the itching powder.

A separate note: listen to the sound clip they used for the slumber party. Why would the girls be screaming? It is so overdone and phony.

I know! It was crazy ! Besides this BB episode, I never in my life heard of itching powder !?
