Default Jenny O'Hara liked this picture on Twitter

Jenny O'Hara liked this picture of Mrs. Garrett and Miss Mahoney on Twitter.

We have seen the picture before, but it cool that a cast member liked it.

Miss Mahoney even follows some of her former students on Twitter. Julie Pie, Lisa, Kim Fields. Even Geri Jewell, who she never acted with on Facts of Life. But one of the students she doesn't follow is Le Mol.

I just came across this Tweet from Miss Mahoney as to why she left Eastland. This is from August 2019 and is more detailed than what she said on the Reelz documentary last spring. All I can say is "Wow".

The other night, I caught Jenny on an old episode of “Family” that was sitting on my DVR. It was from 1979, so close to the time she was on FOL. She had the same awful hairdo, and was playing a similar character (a teacher). The storyline was that Annie was being bullied in school. Jenny’s character was probably less savvy/sensitive than Mahoney.

It’s interesting that Jenny referred to her and John Lawlor as “other adult leads.” I don’t consider her a lead at all, but supporting.

Well she was a lead even with little screen time, as Charlotte, John, and Jenny were the three adult leads in the main credits.

It's kinda like in "Mary Poppins" how the leads are Mary, Bert, Mr. Banks, and Mrs. Banks. Mrs. Banks is more of a supporting player compared to how much screen time the other three have, but she's still one of the four adult leads.

"VOTES FOR WOMEN!!"

I don’t view her as a lead just because she was an adult. She was a supporting character. Charlotte was the sole lead on the show. On Cheers, there were two leads: Ted Danson and Shelley Long. Friends is one of those shows where all six characters were leads because they traded off the spotlight. I just wonder if she viewed her character as more important than it was.

Well, if you're going by award industry standards, she was one of the main characters then if you want to separate it that way, as anyone in opening credits is a main character.

And I didn't say because she was an adult, I just said that they were the three adult leads. The seven girls were the "child leads".

If you saw the documentary, it sounded like we had a battle of the Queen Bees. Jenny wanted more a roll and to be seen as the mentor for the girls. That was moving into Charlotte's territory. It was Charlotte's show. Not surprised that Charlotte reacted as her role being threatened.
