Default Antenna TV Winter 2021-The Jeffersons & One Day At A Time Join line-up

What will the new Schedule look like for Antenna TV for Winter of 2021?

Are there any Special Marathons or Stunts coming in the Winter of 2021?

I hope we find out what this schedule is sooner rather than later.

Hopefully they announce their January schedule tomorrow. We do know from what our Antenna insider has said that 7AM-3PM on weekdays remains the same with no changes. Also: Webster, What's Happening Now!, The Ropers, and Three's a Crowd are all leaving the schedule.

Thanks for cutting the cheese!!!! Wait a minute lol!

Pretty good! As always I’m happy to see the Weekday Morning & Saturday Night-Early Sunday Morning sticking! I would hope though Antenna TV could add to its 1950’s & 1960’s collection of sitcoms this year!

When I’m off from work the Monday’s-Friday’s 4pm-8pm shows! Look great! I’m also enjoying Sunday’s 7pm-10pm programming.

The Weeknight 11pm-5AM shows are just not my cup of tea and that stinks cause I work 2nd shift so I could really go for those time slots. Oh, Well!

Glad to see Antenna TV really celebrating its Birthday!

The Marathon stunts look like fun!

Thanks again OnlineSitcoms poster!

Happy New Year!!

Too bad they didn’t put One Day at a Time in prime time or prime access - they would have the entire CBS Sunday night schedule from the late 70s/early 80s. Surprised they’re still double pumping Archie Bunker, since there are fewer than 100 episodes and they cycle through them very quickly.

That said, I really like Antenna TV. They have a great variety of sitcoms from a range of eras.

Good times for One Day At A Time and The Jeffersons but unfortunately Johnny Carson and Archie Bunker’s Place are still on the schedule but that’s expected. Are they trying to copy MeTV when they had FOL by putting it on early in the morning at 6:00 and 6:30am eastern time?

Obviously The Facts of Life and Diff'rent Strokes weren't doing the job. Thy didn't even graveyard DS, but relegated it to weekends. They've had trouble with it before.

Also it'd be great if they found a couple of other forgotten comedies and give Paul Lynde and Lotsa Luck a rest. Like House Calls, for example.

Beautiful Schedule!!!!

Three's company removed from the 9pm slot and now replaced with the Jeffersons. I can watch One day at a time until June since I am working from Home but I would have liked if it was in the 7pm to 9pm slot. But overall wonderful schedule

https://blog.sitcomsonline.com/2020/...le-stunts.html

As we mentioned before, Antenna TV is adding The Jeffersons and One Day at Time back to its lineup in January 2021. Now we have the timeslots they will air. One Day at a Time will air weekdays from 3-4pm ET leading into the new timeslot for Three's Company from 4-5pm. The Jeffersons will air in primetime weeknights from 9-10pm, right after Archie Bunker's Place from 8-9pm (its switching slots with Alice, as Alice slides to 7-8pm). The other weekday changes include The Facts of Life moving to 6-7am (instead of 3-4pm), while Diff'rent Strokes will be off the weekday lineup, but will remain on weekends (along with The Facts of Life) from 12-2pm. Wings and Becker will flop overnight hours at 1am and 4am to round out the weekday schedule changes.

Weekends will see more of a similar schedule on both days from 6am-6pm (minus the Saturday E/I hour at 9am. Shows include Head of the Class from 11am-12pm, Silver Spoons fom 2-3pm and Gimme a Break! from 3-4pm. Saturdays will continue to have the classics from 6pm-5am such as Father Knows Best, while Sundays from 6pm-5am will still feature '80s sitcoms kicking it off with Family Ties from 6-7pm. View the full regular schedule for Antenna TV for Q1 2021 that begins on Saturday, Jan. 2.

Stunts include, AnTENna TV's Birthday Blowout on New Year's Day airs 12pm-10pm, a 10 hour marathon featuring winners of Top Ten Antenna TV shows as voted on Antenna TV's Facebook page. AnTENna TV's Birthday Party will continue for the first 10 months of the year on the 10th of each month through October 2021 featuring 10 episodes of winners of various other Top Ten polls that have been running on Antenna TV's Facebook page, these stunts from Feb-Oct will air from 5pm-10pm. And finally, romance is in the air on Antenna TV with a Valentine's Day marathon of episodes all day on Sunday, Feb. 14. On Wednesday, March 17, this St. Patrick's Day catch the "It's Your Lucky Day" marathon featuring gambling episodes of your fave Antenna TV sitcoms such as Three's Company when Jack attends a charity ball with a socialite and loses $15,000 while gambling, Larry and the girls attempt to help him recover the money.

Until now I had missed that the new schedule actually starts on January 2, not January 4. With the changes they made, plus this reversal and not waiting for January 9 on the weekend changes, that means What's Happening Now! and Webster are definitely expiring at the end of 2020. WHN's parent show What's Happening! very likely expired at the end of 2019, as it did not air at all this past year. The Ropers and Three's a Crowd may or may not be expired, as they have aired with the Three's Company rotation at times. Welcome Back, Kotter has been gone several months, presumably expired as well but hopefully that is wrong and they will return Kotter on the next schedule change.

If One Day at a time was flipped with Archie Bunkers place that would be a powerful syndication primetime 3 hour block

Boo on moving The Facts of Life to weekday mornings.

As for "doing the job," ratings for this kind of outlet are pretty low to begin with (I had seen that MeTV averaged a 0.2 rating at some point; not sure if that was a particular demo) ; so not sure what kind of number Antenna looks for.

Antenna TV shouldn't be so secretive with what will be airing on New Year's Day. We deserve to know the correct schedule for then, and not some unannounced winners of their poll. Who knows what will be on the schedule for then, they really screwed up just having the shows be a mystery. Not knowing what will actually be airing on New Year's Day, I am not just going to wait around for their unannounced schedule that day to see if it is shows I like or not. This is NOT the way to run a stunt programming day. My on screen guide just has the exact same episodes repeated from the previous day listed, which is surely incorrect. And my online listings just say the vague AnTENna birthday blowout. The blog a few weeks back said the 10th day of every month this year will have some related stunt with the winners of their polls. I hope that isn't run as shoddily as New Year's Day has been with not bothering to let viewers know what will actually be airing.

Catsrule

The New Years Stunt reminds me of NICK at NITE’s Classic TV Countdown. If memory serves me correct example they would say at 11pm airring at number 3 than the host would introduce the show saying this show was a hit in 1960 it would show a clip than the show. Than same at 11:30pm airring number 2. Than at 11:59pm (12AM) they would air there number 1 hit.

It kept viewers guessing and if the viewer didn’t enjoy that show they would hope they would tune in anyways or return after the show was over to see if one of there favorite hits was playing.

It was cool and different. Hope you’ll check it out maybe you’ll discover a show that you don’t like will end up being your favorite.

Although they should of done this countdown December 26-December 31 not on the 10th over most of the year. They should of aired it from 7:30pm-12:30AM & 12:30AM-5:30AM.
