They’re not gonna be able to afford paying some of the main cast if ratings tank too much more.

The Conners currently ranks #5 on ABC, #4 in the 18-29 demographic.

It's doing fine. The general rule is, if a show makes 3 years it'll get 5 for syndication. Some shows can take a loss if they know they'll make it up later in syndication. Other than Goodman and Metcalf, I don't see any big salaries.

Well, you seem to hate it but watch it all of the time anyhow. Maybe there are a lot of people like you out there?

Yeah, I watch it, but every week it’s on the next day it says the show hit a record low. Mathematics state that you can only have a “record low” so many times.

They need to write a non-cliffhanger ending for season 3, I doubt they go beyond 4.

According to this, the ratings for The Conners are still bigger than The Simpsons, The Goldbergs, Law and Order SVU, Last Man Standing, and Family Guy.
