ABC had some interesting unsold pilots this season. Three's A Crowd almost got renewed but ABC picked up Diff'rent Strokes instead. Goodbye Charlie with Suzanne Sommers would make a natural companion, filling out the hour. In Like Flint was a fun 'Romancing The Stone' ripoff from Glen A Larson (The Fall Guy) and would have paired better with Moonlighting than Our Family Honor. Northstar was a solar-powered superbeing played by Greg Evigan. The pilot had a kickass theme/intro.

There's a thread I started called 'busted pilots,' it's over in the one year wonder board. In there is an old newspaper article from 1985 on the pilot slate. The three pilots I mentioned can be found on youtube as abc aired them as specials.

There's two other 1985 abc pilots on youtube. Light detective show Triple cross from the producers of call to glory, starring ted Wass and markie post. The other one is Condor about a female robot cop and her human partner, played by Ray Wise. Condor aired as part of a double feature with Northstar. There's an ABC Sunday night movie intro clip advertising the two features.
