Since Thursday is Thanksgiving what better way to start celebrating Thanksgiving than having a look at Thanksgiving commercials like this classic commercial for Butterball Turkeys. The commercial begins with a woman prepping her turkey and putting it in the oven when suddenly pilgrims appear and start commenting on her turkey as it cooks. This commercial is circa 1978 and is one of the rarest commercials where Thanksgiving is mentioned. It is a shame we don't see Thanksgiving commercials shown much on TV but this commercial is worth seeing

Hi, Bestie! Butterball is my favorite! I notice though that there is not a lot of thanksgiving commercials this year. I miss them
