Would you consider The Incredible World of Ed Norton to be a Honeymooners episode? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Think about this.

It was a pilot for a Honeymooners spin-off that revolved around Ed Norton with no appearances by the Kramdens which means no Jackie Gleason appearance.

The book To The Moon doesn’t list this episode in the back section where all the Honeymooners episodes are listed (though in later years, we found out that more were rumored to have been made)

The episode is NOT on the Time Life DVD Box Set entitled Jackie Gleason Show In Color.

To me, it seems awfully strange to have the Honeymooners without Ralph Kramden.

If its only Norton and not Trixie, Alice or Ralph then I would consider it a spinoff

That's like Larry Dallas having a show as the same character and you see him at his job as a Used car salesman but no Jack, Janet or Chrissy. So this would not be a Honeymooners episode IMO
