When Wally and Beaver go up to tell Jeff to wrap it up and get out of the bathroom, they leave him alone and go clean up the kitchen. Only one had to clean up a glass, a plate and a knife the other to stand guard waiting for Jeff. It would have been great to have him leave in the shower curtain.

When they find he has taken Ward’s clothes Wally blames Beaver but they both let him alone. Also I can see how he took his clothes but I bet he used Ward’s razor too as he had a slight beard.

Next morning Ward says ‘Oh great he used my last blade now I have to go to work looking like a bum.”

Poor Beaver was so naive he was confused by Ward's instructions to be nice--he had to have a few examples to "get it"--then Jeff comes along and for once Gilbert is the voice of reason. On MeTV we don't see Gilbert leave--he just pulls a disappearing act.

June: "I don't think Beaver was entertaining Noel Coward."

Yup Gilbert was quite funny saying “Golly Beaver a bum!” How politically incorrect. Gilbert was helping for the first time and offered good advice not to let Jeff in. When Jeff is taking a whole bath Gilbert says he remembered something he had to do.

The strangest thing is to let him use his parents’ bathroom cuz theirs wasn’t clean enough for company. Huh? The guy is a tramp. If he let Jeff use their bathroom there would be no episode. However Wally’s clothes would have fit and he would have left as a dude or jock.

6th season Gilbert is far more tolerable--he seemed to gain more maturity than Beaver. Other than sneaking into the movie with Beaver's help.
