With the "new normal" fall season now underway as of this week, CHCH, Canada's best retro TV channel, will add the final 2 pieces to their official fall schedule, debuting a couple of outstanding classic sitcoms that haven't been seen here in a long time: "The Odd Couple", and "Get Smart".

Before that happens, they will be making a slight change to the morning lineup on Wed. Nov. 11, Remembrance Day in Canada. On that day, "Matlock" will be pre-empted and postponed until Thursday and "Green Acres" will move from 11:00 am to 10:00 am for one day only. At 10:30, CHCH will go live to Hamilton, Ont. for a special Remembrance Day ceremony and Mass. At 11:30, the schedule resumes with all shows at their normal time, starting with "The Beverly Hillbillies". Later that day, the changes begin with "Get Smart" premiering at 4:30 pm replacing "The Facts Of Life". "The Odd Couple" will make its debut this Friday the 13th at 3:00 pm in place of "Good Times". "The Jeffersons" will end two weeks later and will be replaced by "Bewitched". The series will be shown in back-to-back episodes and will resume where the recent weekend marathons left off, in the midst of Season 1. Those marathons are now done. The weekends will feature old classic movies from now on just like before. This is what the new, and much improved, schedule will now look like:

10:00 am Matlock
11:00 Green Acres
11:30 The Beverly Hillbillies
12:00 pm Fantasy Island
1:00 Mission: Impossible
2:00/2:30 Bewitched (Returns Tue Nov, 24)
3:00 The Odd Couple (NEW - Fri Nov. 13)
3:30 Family Ties
4:00 One Day At A Time
4:30 Get Smart (NEW - Wed Nov.11)
5:00 Gilligan's Island
5:30 The Brady Bunch

Wow, The Odd Couple & Get Smart are great additions to this line up. CHCH keeps getting better. These are two shows I haven't seen since their run on TV Land back in 2003/2004. Thanks for all the updates, Sal... looking forward to watching!
