This episode implies Ann has never met Don's parents. I seem to remember a Thanksgiving episode where Don's and Ann's parents have dinner in Ann's apartment Another episode has Don's mother stay at Ann's . Also 2 different actors played Don's father.

You're right. The 1st Donald Sr. (whatever his name was) was played by Sgt. Mooney from Dennis The Menace. But Sgt. Mooney died shortly after this appearance so Donald Sr. the 2nd was played by a different old guy. I'll be watching that Thanksgiving episode in a couple of weeks (boy, this year flew by). Now that I've started up watching That Girl once a week again with the DVDs as of a couple weeks ago I'm looking forward to that holiiday show and the Christmas shows too. It's been a couple years since I watched the series so I'm really happy to see it again.

Can anyone please explain why Donald's father told their party guests that Ann had been in prison before? I never understood this for years and years from this episode!
