I was listening to music and found Howard Jones and I wanted to know what happened to him? He was a huge star in the 80's with songs such as Things Can Only Get Better Everlasting Love What Is Love and the ballad No One Is To Blame. Howard was a good singer that had an amazing voice and his songs were great to dance to

What happened?

I think people's taste in music changed. Each album that he released after 1985 struggled to find an audience (chart on the radio).

One of his last attempts was in the early 1990s and he lost his contract with WMG.

His latest album, Transform, was released on 10 May, 2019. It features three collaborations with electronic musician BT.[

An interesting quote from 2006

"My songs are not about drug-taking or debauchery or rock and roll. They're about positive thinking and challenging people's ideas. I wasn't fashionable. I never got good reviews. But I'm proud of the fact that I wasn't liked by the media... Pop music is so reactionary and bigoted. And I found that what's 'cool' is often very shallow and transient."

I saw Howard Jones in concert last year, he was fantastic. I was always a fan of his music. I am not sure if he is still making new music, but I know he was still performing as of 2019.

I like Jones's songs No One Is To Blame and Everlasting Love. But other than that I couldn't stand him, I just thought he was strange and he had that stupid hair.
